Trillium is shipping beers within MA and out of state breweries are shipping to just about every state around us. Are we any closer to being able to order beer to be shipped direct to customer?

IIRC, breweries need special license / permissions to be able to ship into massachusetts, at least those outside - Mass breweries can ship, though many haven;t done so up till now. Once things are back to normal, (whatever the new normal will be) I wonder how many will continue shppnig.
Obviously not a lot of breweries want to go through those hoops for one state.
Things are changing, though, I know there was a law passed this past week changing the distribution laws, (I think it's on the governor's desk now) so hopefully things will slowly change from the purtanical laws that we now have here, loosening things up.

Does anyone know anything about the Bevv platform? I found their site via Progression Brewing in Northampton (which is now shipping to MA and other states). According to the Bevv site I can get beer shipped from a few dozen breweries I've never heard of and a few out-of-state beer shops to my zipcode in MA. I have no idea if this is legit or not.

I used it to order some Other Half from a retailer on that platform, Alphabet City Beer Company. I think shipping was like $15 for 12 beers. Pretty easy and quick turnaround.

This site is an interesting development...

Looks like I could get $10.25 6-packs of Live Oak Hefeweizen shipped to me from CBC Houston...

I was thinking the same thing. And maybe some Jester King bottles.

Has anyone seen a place (on bevv or elsewhere) that has Revolution Straight Jacket for shipping? I've heard MA isn't getting any this year...

Looks like Untitled Art can be added to the list as well. There's not much available now but I do see some tasty looking releases from them once in a while

Fonta Flora is shipping to MA, too.

And as far as online stores go, Halftime Beverage seems to have a pretty decent selection. I was recently gifted some beers from Craft Shack, too, and they have some good stuff.

I gave up on them. Bought 3 crowlers from the brewery and 2 were IEDs. One sour and one stout

On top of that, one of the owners rates their own beer on untappd and always 5s, obviously. I find that behavior kind of repulsive and stopped based on that combined with a couple of underwhelming experiences with the taproom and the beer itself.

I got my shipment from CBC Houston today. Five days from when I ordered to when it arrived via UPS. Everything was well packed w bubblewrap and peanuts. Shipping and handling was $20 for 12 cans.

The Live Oak Hefe tastes as delicious as I remember it. But I was surprised that the Yellow Rose arrived in 16oz crowlers packaged at the CBC shop on the day I ordered it rather than bottles or cans from the brewery. Not sorry, cause it is tasting fantastic. I guess I should have read the fine print.

Nice! I was wondering about the Yellow Rose packaging since I didn't think they were canning and the image on the site looked like a generic CBC can. Great beer. I haven't been to Austin in way too long, but a few years ago had a layover in DFW and one of the restaurants in the airport had Yellow Rose on tap, such a delicious beer.

I ordered Threes again today. A few four packs: the 10 Plato Czech pils, an IPA, and the Helles. I added a few saisons, including the Oxbow Liquid Swords.

I almost pulled the trigger on Halftime Beverage mainly because of Smeirlap and Abraxas, but shipping was $25 (as opposed to $9 from Threes). I also considered doing the CBC Houston or Hickory, but to be honest I don't know much about any of the local breweries in those places.
