Breweries shipping to Virginia

    Figured with so many now starting to offer it we could have a thread for those located in VA to know which breweries are now able to ship to your doorstep throughout the state. NOT those offering local delivery from them but those shipping UPS/FedEx, etc. Just a quick start off the top of my head...

    - Adroit Theory
    - Aslin
    - Burial (NC)
    - Champion
    - Dogtown Brewing
    - Hardywood
    - Jackie O's (OH)
    - Lickinghole
    - The Veil
    - Triple Crossing (beginning April 14th)

    There's a bunch more that have applied for their shipper's license so expect a lot more coming. Feel free to add as more are known and announced.

    - Center of the Universe Brewing (Ashland, Va) now ships throughout VA and DC. Full cases only with flat rate shipping of $25/case.

    - Richbrau Brewing (Richmond, Va) also now ships throughout the state

    Not just NOVA and DC but across the entire state and DC. I saw that too but was waiting until it went live to post it.

    There's a couple more (Commonwealth and Oozlefinch) that just received their license approval since Friday but have not went live or made an announcement yet. Probably working out logistics before making a formal post.

    Alewerks and Starr Hill also have recent applications in review so expect those to be available in the coming weeks as well.

    I meant to change it from "shipping to NOVA and DC" to "across VA and DC" but I must have gotten distracted between the time I changed part of it to the time I pressed post. Smart for those breweries to work out logistics. I wonder if all of these Richmond/VA Beach/Norfolk breweries would have tried to get beer to the DC area if Aslin hadn't done deliveries in Richmond a few weeks ago. Feels like it poked the bear or got the tires moving on this.

    Benchtop Brewing (Norfolk, Va) now shipping to all parts VA, NC, and DC that are within the UPS ground 1 day transit map. Unfortunately, that does exclude the very western most zip codes of NC and VA.

    I stand corrected!

    I was sent a shipping email with a tracking number, with the USPS no less. They sent me another email saying that they do not ship to VA. So, since I could not pick it up, they cancelled my order and refunded me the money. :slight_frown:
