    Hi All,

I moved from San Diego to Suffolk County, Long Island about a year ago. So far I haven't been super duper impressed by the Long Island breweries I've tried (I'm sure there are gems I've missed), but I know there are plenty of amazing breweries in the City. I'm now trying to make semi-regular trips to NYC to visit some of these breweries. So far I've been to SingleCut and Other Half and really enjoyed both. Finback is going to be my next visit.

If any NYC BA folks would like to recommend other breweries/tasting rooms that are worthy of a day trip into the city, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks!

Threes, LIC, Interboro, Barrier and Sand City out on Long Island if you havent checked that one out. If you have a car you can also travel into Jersey and Visit Carton and Kane.

I would also add Greenpoint and Keg & Lantern to the list of options, both very close to each other. I've been impressed by their beers when I've been. Perhaps not at the same level as Other Half/Singlecut/Threes just quite yet, but the last time I was at Greenpoint I had a DIPA that was one of the best I've had in good long while.

Brooklyn Brewery is also a fun place to visit with a group of friends.
