Maybe it's time for another "national" beer competition? Or at least rotate sites for GABF.

Wish they would do more about style submission honesty. Tired of being surprised in seeing a place claim a GABF medal for their IPA which sounds impressive, especially considering how competitive the IPA categories are (especially American IPA). But, no, their IPA received a medal in a strong pale ale category. I think they ought to either sell it as a strong pale ale, or better yet if it is labeled and promoted as an American IPA then it must be submitted in that category.

The GABF is huge, and requires a lot off staff. The Brewers Association organizes and runs it. The BA office located in Boulder makes this convenient.

The CBC rotates, me as does NHC.
