This map a friend found claims to be pretty comprehensive. I was looking at it and noticed several NYC/LI area breweries that were missing. He's from NC and he noticed a few missing as well. As I looked around I noticed some other notable breweries missing across the country. Are your favorites here? What do you think?

I think this is fairly comprehensive. My favorite local brewery Voodoo in NW Pa is on there which is awesome!

Ha! Greg Koch posted this on FB earlier. This map is pathetic! Stone isn't on there!
My bitch is Michigan. We have 113 breweries, but only 21 are listed.
I sent an email to the designer and am awaiting a response...

Is it just me, or is Sierra Nevada missing?

Looking at the map, you are right, no Sierra Nevada, no Rogue or Pelican Pub (going to Oregon soon), no Founders, and they have at least one brewery that closed some years back.

WV actually has 6 breweries (woot! woot!). They only show 2. There's plenty of room to list them...

Minneapolis gets a "blow up" circle but Portland doesn't? This is a great start but more work needs to be done. Hopefully it's a work in progress and not viewed as a final product. Would be great to see a truly complete, comprehensive map like this.

I really like PopChartLabs (I have the older version of their Very Many Varieties of Beer shirt and their newest Very Very Many Varieties of Beer poster), but I had many quibbles with this poster – pretty much all of the SD breweries are located in entirely the wrong spot (some as far off as 70 miles). They tweeted that they're going to fix it before final print, but I'm still debating whether to jump on the pre-sale.

Interesting. They've listed some breweries in VA that I've never heard of, but don't have Legend, which is pretty popular IMO.

I doubt they could put all breweries on the map and still look nice, but maybe doing the top X% of each state or something like that. pretty cool nonetheless. If they improve it some more I'd buy it.

Strange that big dogs like Stone would be left off...
