After wading through the depressing (but necessary) list of liquor stores negatively impacted recently, let's look forward to brighter days & start a list of places that plan on re-opening soon.

Forager is re-opening their patio starting June 1st for dining. We've made the drive down for take-out during the lockdown & will happily do so again this week to raise a glass to Forager's re-opening!

I know Jack Pine sent out a very thorough email detailing their new procedures (90 minute limits, no kids, no flights, recyclable glassware).

Waconia Brewing will reopen Monday. The city is allowing them to take over a corner of the parking lot. But it will basically standing around on blacktop, and with the weather expected this week, will not be pleasant. Schram Winery has the benefit of 20 acres of green space to take advantage of, while Schram Haus has a very large patio that offers some protection. Most places I believe, require a reservation so they can keep track of people in case of an outbreak.

I'm heading north of Alexandria in two weeks, so I was happy to hear both Drastic Measures and Copper Trail will have their patios open starting tomorrow. (Drastic's kitchen will open a week later)

Both Utepils and Waldmann are taking online reservations for outdoor seating, starting today.

Will be heading to forager lunch time on Saturday. Wearing a mask when food is not at the table is a small price to pay to keep these places in business.

Several were going to open for the anticipated June 1 reopening of MPLS restartants/bars /breweries with up to 50 people in a patio setting, many have pulled back from this to reassess when they will open and what days and times.

Bald Man Brewing in Eagan opened their patio today at 3PM. Plenty of cars in the parking lot when I drove by late this afternoon.

Wild Mind is going to remain closed for awhile. One of the owners suffered a couple bouts of really bad pneumonia this winter and found out he has diabetes... so it's in his best interest to wait.

I think it is law right now that all places are supposed to require reservations...including bars, etc.

This is true but it does not require ahead of time reservations. They can take your name and count when you come in. They just need to prove they didn't go over the limit if someone comes asking. Places with smaller spaces are more likely to require ahead of time reservations for obvious reasons.

I'll add that Invictus Brewing is also open. Sounds like Lupulin is planning to open their patio on Friday

IIUC, it is more so they can trace back contacts in the event someone is tested positive.

Not likely . Revival (MPLS) and Broders (3) are shut down due to servers with Covid 19 positive ,they are not calling curbside patrons with phone # that were used for orders in May.

They also weren't obligated to let anyone know why they closed to begin with.

Revival was even at best vague as to why they were closing down for a few days.

Thanks for the clarification. I figured if we were out biking and dropped by a place we could set up a reservation on the spot or call i guess from the street and get a spot if they had open seats when we got there.
