So will be in Maine and Vermont for a week.. Going to hit

In Vermont: HF, Lawsons, Heady, Backacre.
Any other small breweries worth hitting while I am there? Hidden gems etc...
Will be in Stowe area as my base.

    In Maine: Allagash, Maine Beer.
Again, looking for any other hidden gems and must stops that folks may know of..
Will be in Kennebunkport area as my base..

thanks BAs.. I know I'll have a laundry list from ya all and I appreciate it.. My family.....not so much...LOL.

In Morristown VT, Lost Nation is a must hit. Great beers and great food.

Backacre isn't open to the public and the bottles tend to be in southern VT.

Hit Fiddlehead just south of Burlington.

The only Brewery you'll be able to hit out of those is Hill Farmstead, open Wed-Fri 12-5. Would definitely suggest trying to get up there around 11-11:30 on Wednesday for the least hassle.

The alchemist is unfortunately still closed to the public but cross your fingers that it will open sometime soon. Your best play for securing Lawson's would be to hit the Warren country store around 9:30 Thursday morning for there 10 o'clock shipment.

Lost Nation is also a cool spot, you might as well also stop in at Rock Art as you're traveling between Morristown and Stowe and grab a flight. The guys who work there are pretty cool. Make sure you tie your fiddle stop in with dinner and grab pizza right next door where you can bring your growlers in.

Otter Creek in Middlebury has a super clean and cool tasting room that looks right into the brewery/process, then you can head over to Drop in Brewing for free tastings. Foley Brothers is also a nice little brewery right down rt. 7 in Brandon.

    Enjoy VT!

Yeah... For the record and to clarify... When I say hitting them, I mean buying the beers. I was not very clear. I realize alchemist, backacre and Lawson's are not open to public. Thnx though because as I wrote my OP, it sounded like I was brewery bound.

I'm a Rising Tide fan, solid lineup of beers and have had great experiences in their tasting room.
