Brewery Recs between Savannah and Hilton Head?

    Headed out that way for a week from CO and looking for a few breweries to check out. Moon River is the only one I've heard of and that's on the list, but what else is there?

    River Dog Brewing is not far from Hilton Head. While I haven't visited the taproom, I have had many of their beers and enjoyed them.

    I second the River Dog recommendation. I believe it's about halfway between HHI and Savannah. My two favorites are the Chocolate Rye Porter and the Belgian Amber.

    And if you're in HHI, there is another outfit called Wooden Skiff, though I don't know much about their beer.
