Is just all kinds of awesome! Had a bunch of tasters. Rick gave me and my buddy a quick tour. You would not believe what this guy puts out given his setup...I'm impressed. Check him out if you can. I was a fan
http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/31045/?view=ratings Please take a moment to drop them some words as well as a rating. I'm sure they'd appreciate the feedback, and other BAs would appreciate some more details. Cheers!
I agree completely. And all of their beer is "gluten reduced". I took my dad (who has Celiac disease) herr a few months ago and he was in heaven. I really thought their beer was some of the best I've had in Denver. I'll be back.
Rickoli's is awesome! Love the Totally IPA and most everything else on tap. People are always friendly.
My first visit was last year and they happened to have a bunch of BA beers. I can't remember most of the names, but Thrilla Vanilla and the BA Monolith they had stood out. I think there was some other BA Peach beer that was good too. And if you go during a Broncos game, you get a free taster every time they score. You can't beat that.
they've come out as the clear winner in our blind Colorado IPA taste tests. get there if you've haven't been yet.
I also had a great experience at Rickoli's. All three of there ipa's were awesome and the barley wine was very good as well. I want to go back in there soon. They even had a brown ale my wife enjoyed! (She only drinks coors and corona). Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area. As most other small breweries they also allow you to order in food from around the area.
Never heard of this place. Kinda out of the way for me to get to, but might have to make the effort given the ridiculous feedback this thread has generated. Between this spot and Comrade, 2 spots I have on my radar in the greater Denver area.
If you're making the trek to Rickoli, swing by Colorado+ just down the road. Pretty good grub and great taplist, both brewed on premise and guest taps (Colorado-only).
And maybe Arvada. I went once after they were in the news for firing their brewmaster and they had a couple good ones. Their most recent tap list I didn't find too interesting, but they're right down the street from Rickoli, so it's not a major detour or time sink.
Hell, while you're over there you can rock some great food AND one of the best IPAs in the country at the Yak & Yeti, too.
