My wife is pregnant and we are trying to plan a babymoon. She wants a spa day which will leave me the day free. My plan is to hit up a brewery or breweries for bottles to take back home with us and hopefully enjoy some draft offerings. So what I'm looking for is opinions: if you were to visit one brewery anywhere in the country that sell bottles on premise, where would you go? My top 2 right now are Hill Farmstead and Jester King. TIA.
For breweries outside my area? Probably Toppling Goliath, but not sure if they sell bottles on site. If not, growlers would work. They are pretty much the only brewery in the country I really want to check out that I haven't been to already.
let's be honest…the nicest option closest to the spa she wants to go to Edit: Unless the two of you are flying different places, which opens up the options!
HF is a good choice. Stowe mountain lodge had a very high end spa. But be prepared -- big big bucks. 45 minutes away and down the street from some of the coolest beer bars on the planet -- Prohibition Pig, Black Back, and the Reservoir. That said --- I think I'd choose Alpine if I had to go tomorrow.
If you're in GA, go to COAST in south carolina. They usually have good to go bottles. Westbrook is pretty close too.
