Might be helpful to note that they'll only be available in limited quantities, for a limited time.

The brewery plans to “test the market” with 300 hundred cases of its 16 oz. can variety pack and one log of Wizard Burial Ground, a Belgian Quad, which is going to Olde Magoun’s Saloon in Somerville for the official pre-EBF kick off party on March 19th.

I love the "test the market" stuff. The real test of the market is if people re-buy. The 300 cases will fly almost no matter what. Makes no sense as a business move.

I'm not going to complain about getting more beer, but whatever this is a "test" for, it's not for adding Boston as a market...

Often times breweries that are pouring at a Beeradvocate Fest, in this case EBF, will also distribute some beer to take advantage of their short term distro license.

Yeah in the past Shorts has done this, etc. Just call it brief distribution, not "testing the market".

Downtown Wine and Spirits in Davis Sq Somerville had at least 3 of these variety packs left at 6pm tonight. 9x16oz cans for $24.95. 2x Farm Hand, 2x Triomphe, 2x Undertaker, 2x Big Red Coq plus 1 mystery pint (Pothole Coffee Stout). Cool box. They even inserted a clever little xtra surprise for Boston. Thanks BV!

I did my part as the "test market", and yeah, there will be no follow up on my part.

The sticker was a nice touch.
