So I know there were a bunch of these threads in the beginning of the year but those quickly turned into Tart of Darkness threads.

How is everyone liking the Plow Horse? It just hit SE Michigan today so naturally I picked up 4 cans.

One can deep....and wow...damn good. Quite a complex Imperial Stout. Bit pricey but I'm finding it it well worth it.

Now wish I could've made it to the brewery for the Wood-Aged Beer Festival to try the BA version of it.....

I passed as I felt it was too pricey. BA version was damn tasty though.

Aren't all of their brews pricey?

Not too terrible on the pricing....Farm hand and Triomphe were $9.99 for four pint sized cans. Big Red Coq was about $11.99 for the same.

I'll have to look again but I thought over here in Kzoo it was a couple of bucks more per 4 pack for each

No. A 4-pack of Tallboys is about equal to 3 bombers, nobody would be bitching if Vivant was selling these beers in $4 bombers.

EDIT: OK, some neckbeards would still bitch about a $4 bomber of excellent beer, but nobody cares about those peoples' opinion.

You're picking out the exceptions. Everything else has been in the $16.99 range.
If they're using that logic, they might as well go to bombers. I'd buy a $6 bomber, but I've given up on spending close to $20 for a 4 pack when I usually just want to give their beers a try.

Anyone know when this is hitting the Chicago area?

I too would like to know this, or if it'll even hit Chicago! I was at the brewery last weekend and really wanted to grab a 4-pack. Since I was going to be on foot the rest of the night it didn't happen. Because I drank from 12-12 I was too hung over the next day to even think about picking up beer on the way out of town. So sad.
