The one on their site has not changed since june, so does anyone know what is currently on tap there?

As of the last time I was there, last Tuesday: (From memory) Farm Hand, Triomphe, Escoffier, Contemplation, Zaison, Sgt. Peppercorn, Michigan Brewers Guild 15th Anniversary, Oak aged Farm Hand, and I think they may have put on a chili beer in the past few days called Ancho Raunch. I may be forgetting something. Can't remember if Solitude was on or not.

Very good memory, sullenbee. I was there Saturday and I think you hit them all.

To keep up with releases, check their facebook page, they seem to update it more. Wood aged beer fest is coming up October 6th, and should be awesome. [IMG]

I've seen that. I need a tap list for that. I assume there will be no growler fills there...

This was a perfect thread. A friend and I are coming from the Chicago area and will be stopping in here on Friday as a part of our Michigan brewery trip. I noticed they hadn't updated the tap list since June as well so this was helpful. Thank you.

Oof, that is my birthday. More details on this please? Is it just Vivant beers or do other breweries come in as well?

It was all there own beers last year. But they were all bad and you should not go, just stay home and save a bunch of money.:-)

funny, im from chicago and just did this exact thing the first week of August. Vivant is top notch man. If its just the two of you, you can each get a flight and be able to try all the beers offered. Great food, great environment, great beer, great staff. I loved the place, and frequently rock my teal and pink vivant rooster t shirt.

Awesome! This is good to hear. I did a trip with my cousin through Michigan before and we ended up passing on Viviant cuz we didn't have enough time. Def making a point to hit them up this time tho. Cheers!

I tweeted them that very question, they said no but may do growler fills on the following days if stuff is leftover.

The flyer is all the info I know so far - but I'm assuming it will just be Vivant beers like last year. I don't believe they announced the taplist beforehand, but I could be remembering wrong. Either way, I'm sure it won't disappoint. I had a blast. Hoping I can make it to this one!

Was it kid friendly during the day last year?

Vivant is always kid friendly. My friends who I meet there on a weekly basis always bring their little badger along. The brewer's wife is usually hanging around with her daughter, who is a little heartbreaker to poor little Max.

They separated the fest last year - it was outside and it was business as usual on the inside. If you have kids, they could always be entertained with food inside.

I guess to be safe I would call, but I honestly don't see them changing and not allowing little ones.
