The main ones for me are Surly (like 99% of the friggin country), Firestone Walker, and the 100% homer pick of Columbus Brewing Company.

Would also love HotD, Troegs (just for Nugget Nectar), and Russian River.

I can't complain too much about distribution in Wisconsin, but Russian River would be nice.

I'd add Boulevard to the two bolded above. Our lack of Allagash and Victory is extra painful now that I know we had them previously.

Amen. Even without our amazing selection of imports, there wouldn't much of an argument for drinking local.

Would love for New Glarus to ship stuff out of WI...but I guess it makes going home to see the family worth it.
So far, at this early stage of my Beer life, I'm pretty happy with what I can find. This will probably change in a few years though.

Surly....ive only had their Furious and it is such a great beer. Im sure everything else is equally amazing.

And Russian River. Ive never had anything from them and it pains me that i havent had Elder (or younger, but lets for for real)

Number 3 would be Mikeller because i really want to try their single hopped IPAs....

    Surly

    Surly

    A bunch others.

Dude, are you serious? You realize that there is more of the country beyond the Mississippi River right? I'm sending you a road atlas...

Being in WV, we can't complain too much with what we have. It's a helluvalot better than it was a few years ago.
That said, I'd take Founders here in a heartbeat. And not for all the (blank)-BS limited releases either--give me their regular line-up all day every day (mmmmmRedsRye). Another wish would be Dark Horse. And although I've never had their beers I'd love to try some Deschutes.

If I could really have my wishes I'd see some stellar offerings from UK: Adnams, Dark Star, Meantime, Thornbridge, Kernal, Inveralmond, Williams Bros., don't get me started...but of course, this thread is only meant for breweries in the Centre of the Universe right?

Cigar City, for some reason they are in SC and in VA but not in NC. I heard it won't be until they finish the new brewery before NC seems them. Brought back cases of CCB from Hunahpu day so I'll be good for a while...

Well of course those were just some I thought of off the top of my head since I never see them in California. I have also not never seen Cigar city and many others. Chill out.

    Hill Farmstead
    The Alchemist
    Surly
    New Glarus
    Midnight Sun
    Alaskan
    Lost Abbey
    Great Divide

    Three Floyds
    Cantillon
    Drie Fontenein
    Deschuttes
    Alpine
    Kern River
    Troegs
    Cigar City
    Great Lakes
    Block 15
    Upright
    50/50
    Funky Budda

    I'd never trade again:wink:

I don't think the issue is with the list of breweries, but using the label "East Coast". Neither state is within an easy day's drive of the actual east coast.

    I'd be happy with

    Russian River
    Surly
    Kern River
    Hill Farmstead
    Alchemist

And would it kill the importers to drop off more than 2 cases of Cantillon every 6 months?!?

    Nice thread.

For me here in MO it would have to be Surly and Three Floyds.

Can get Alchemist and HF every time I see my folks. Can usually trade for RR fairly easily. There's only one that's harder for me to get (besides my Belgian beauties):

    FFF
