My wife and I will be up there for a belated anniversary long weekend. First Brewgrass for both of us.
We'll be there, too! Second year for us - I'm sure we'll be making the rounds with the Homebrewers. Look for the roving group holding the signs. We had a blast last year and are looking forward to it! We'll see you there, Nick!
Should be a good long weekend. We'll be in town Friday through Tuesday. Planning to hit the breweries I haven't visited yet (Burial, Highland, etc.), drinking the board at Wicked Weed ... also doing coupley things.
Online tickets sold out in minutes. They did sell a few batches at local venues...also now sold out. Im sure some people will be selling theirs off of facebook before the fest, and many people sell their spares the day of while in line.
Check their facebook page. People are realizing they cant make it or find a close hotel and are posting them there.
I'll be there. Finally got tix after about 10 years of failed attempts. As pleased about hearing Larry Keel as the beer.
Site looks like more tickets (342) available now: http://brewgrassfestival.com/product/brewgrass-2013-tickets/
For those who have been before, what time would you recommend getting to the festival if you don't want to be way back in line? I know with Brewvival if you don't get there pretty early, it can take a while to get in, so I thought lining up an hour or two in advance would get us in at a good time. Or is it not that kind of deal?
Yeah that is kind of the same deal, but they are pretty fast about processing people. Scan the ticket, show ID, get a cup, enjoy! More of a big deal is getting good placement of chairs, ect. I usually get there about hour and a half before.
I've made all 16 of them. Haven't checked the website lately, but my brother tells me that the festival starts at 1:00 PM this year (shaving an hour off). If you line up on the left (facing the entrance) it is a much shorter wait.
