Brewgrass, Asheville's oldest beer festival has been rescheduled due to Hurricane Florence. At this point forecaster are saying Asheville could receive 8" of rain, plus high winds from the storm.

It has been rescheduled for October 27th, 2018 at the Salvage Station along the French Broad River in Asheville. Although a smaller venue, the space will provide for a more intimate event.

footnote: In one past Brewgrass, I picked up my daughter and friends after a rainy Brewgrass. They were like drowned muddy rats, be it happy drowned muddy rats.

I remember that year. It was a pretty intense brutal rain all day.

My favorite year was another time they postponed it, and had it at McCormick in late October. The temperature had finally cooled down, and it wasn't brutally hot out.
