This year's go at Pumpernickel Saison. Dropping the brown malt and replacing it with more chocolate rye, and bumping up the IBUs a touch. Might age on some apple brandy soaked oak; we'll see in a few weeks.

LHBS just opened a tap room upstairs. Picked up my grains while enjoying a local double ipa. I think my homebrew costs just went up.

Not really feeling those SA hops in the pale ale, but the beer's not bad enough to dump. Just super grassy.

Festbier and schwarz are in the keezer and lagering, both taste very nice.

Planning to brew an American brown ale based on this before I head down to LA for a week.

To me this is the worst type of beer. I would rather just have a dumper then have to soldier through a keg of something I don’t really like. I usually drink half, get tired and then dump the rest.

Brewing up a Belgian Quad to pitch on the Blonde ale yeast cake. The Blonde is going in a homebrew club barrel that is holding a quad today. My Quad is going in to my Apple brandy barrel when done and the stout is coming out. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Blonde getting transfer to a bucket to drop off at the barrel later today. The blonde dropped clear after crashing. It tasted amazing when taking a gravity reading. Feels like my cleanest beer I’ve made yet.

GF NEIPA today. Really starting to get these dialed in now that I've got a solid grain bill & process together. Gonna pump up the quinoa for more protein & lower my enzyme dosage to shoot for a higher FG. Also adjusting the water a bit, upping the Cl and adding a bit more Na.

    4L Rice
    Quinoa
    Oats
    CaraMillet

    Riwaka
    Nelson
    Citra

Tonight I will be brewing an ipa with marris otter, 2 row, flaked oats. Hopping with chinook, cascade and Bru-1 followed by a large dry hop about 4 days into fermentation. Fermenting with Verdant IPA yeast.

Kegging a fresh peach saison and drilling another whole in a fridge to get a 4th tap.
