I'll second @VikeMan CBC-1 is great for bottle conditioning. It holds up to high ABV and low pH, neutral, and speedy. I will also say 4 months in the barrel is going to knock your base CO2 level down, so add more priming sugar to achieve the proper carbonation.

Kegged my IPA with 5.25oz DH... now to wait a couple days to pull the DH, add gelatin, and throw in the keezer. I need to take off every Friday for the next 2 months and brew stockpile beers. Ripping through them too fast.

I've never cultivated the sort of objection to this hop that some express, and in this beer, I'm not sure hops matter too much. Often I just make a bittering addition in milds, but in this case about half the ibus came from a late addition. US Fuggles, if that matters. To me, it probably doesn't.

I really like Fuggles in certain applications, usually as a small late addition in darker ales. I think that there is a lot of variation in the variety, as I've had it be grassy, earthy, or floral, so maybe that's where the dislike comes from.

I found that I like it best in my brown ales. I’ve tried a bunch and this hop is my favorite in my brown. EKG is second place for sure

I’m a fuggles brewer trued and true. Usually @10 in stouts 1 to 3 oz depending on the ale. Great in combo with goldings.

I'm curious with Fuggles whether terroir matters more than other hops. A lot of people who don't like Fuggles (UK-grown) have no problem with Styrian Goldings (which are simply Fuggles grown in Slovenia) or Willamette (a triploid, sterile version of Fuggles grown in the U.S.).

Then again, maybe terroir matters for all hops and Fuggles just happen to have traveled the world more than a lot of other hops.

Anyway here's an interesting post about Fuggles:

First post here, brewed batch #1 - 2022 last Saturday.
    A Best Bitter attempt:
7lbs Maris Otter 12oz C40, 8oz C80, 1oz Chocolate Malt (for the hell of it, leftover from a Vienna Lager brewed in December).
    1oz EKG 60m, .5oz Fuggles 15m, 1oz each EKG and Fuggles 5m, .5oz Fuggles dry hop.
    Wyeast 1275 Thames Valley.
OG 1.046 (refractometer) but TILT read 1.040 to start, finished up at 1.010 and kegged yesterday. Started carbonation today.
Should be somewhere between 3.9% and 4.4%.
    Fingers crossed.

Finally got where’s my ass molly brewer. Delayed by highs in the single numbers.
Finished the boil and OG is 1085 which is .020 low from the original.
Adding almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and nibs in 8 days.

Brewed up a batch of my house ale yesterday.
The recipe was originally a clone of the Sam Adams New Albion ale, but I've made more than a few tweaks here and there. |This time I threw in more hops than usual - the recipe calls for 2/3 oz at 60, 10 and FO, I used an ounce each.
I tested positive late last week, so I'm wrapping up quarantine (no real symptoms to speak of, just felt a bit rundown last weekend, plus a cough that I've had the past 3 weeks anyway.)
So I;m calling this batch the Plague Pale Ale. I don't bother with official names or labels like some do, but I may tape a biohazard sticker I've had lying around for years to the keg anyway.
