Bottling a coffee porter this weekend.
    2.5 gallon batch
    57% Viking 2-row pale ale
    19% Crisp brown malt
    10% Briess C-20
    10% Weyermann chocolate rye
5% Weyermann beech smoked barley malt
¼ cup light roast cracked coffee beans in the fermentor
    ½ oz Crystal @ 60 minutes
    ½ oz Crystal @ 15 minutes

The hydro sample this evening tasted like Hi-Wire Strongman Coffee Milk Stout.

Tapped the IPA on Sunday after transferring from the spunding/dry hop keg over to the serving keg as planned. Went very smoothly. Decided to leave any additional DH out of the serving keg and just keep it sealed after pushing the sanitizer out prior to filling.

The end result is phenomenal! It was quite an epic comeback for brewing IPA, I must say.

It's exactly what I was hoping it would be. Super aromatic (dank/herbal, some candied fruit, pine) and the bitterness is punchy. Just enough malt to balance things out.

Granted, this is super fresh, but I have high hopes it will continue to drink great, hopefully, for the next month or so!
