Didn't see anything posted yet, so I thought I'd start us off. I'm teaching a buddy to brew tomorrow. He's been doing Mr Beer and bought his first 5 gallon extract kit, asked if I could help him. Decided to brew 2 batches myself while I'm at it. Brewing up an IIPA with Pale, Munich, Carafoam, Caralight 10/15L, and a touch of Carafa III for color and 2# sugar, Zeus, Cascade, Galaxy, lots of late editions, no DH. Hoping for 1.082 OG ~9% ABV, 99 IBUs. I am also brewing (during my mash on the IIPA) an extract with grains Pils/Pale hybrid to test some old school NZ AlphAroma hops a buddy gave me. I'm growing the hop and have no info on it so I am brewing up a 3 gallon batch to test them out. 2.5# Pils DME, 0.5# CaraHell, 30 minute boil, about 1.041 OG, 22 IBUs, 4% ABV. If the hops are more Noble in character then I'll call it a pseudo Pils (1056 @ 65), if they are more American like other NZ hops that were bread from this hop then it's an APA. Drinking my Gumballhead clone and Witbier I bottled last weekend too.

    How bout yall?

Just finishing chilling a robust porter, which will get ~4 ounces of coffee added after fermentation is done.

I'm just going to bottle the last 3 gallons of coffee stout this weekend. Next weekend I think I'll brew again. Haven't quite decided what I'll brew yet, but it will be something either pale, hoppy, or with berries. :sunglasses:

Beer gunning three milk stout variants tomorrow into bottles for a BIF and brew club meeting.

A friends birthday is coming up at the end of the month, so will be brewing a double batch of session IPA on Saturday as a birthday present. Still haven't decided on the hops yet... Supposed to not be brewing, but I'm addicted to making beer.

I was going to say, for someone who was not supposed to be brewing for the next year you sure are contributing to the What's Brewing threads quite often.

I am brewing a Blue Moon clone. I not super proud to admit it, but some of my friends and family have made the request. If nothing else they can drink that and stay away from my Two Hearted Clone that is tasting amazing.

I'm brewing a Kolsch tomorrow. We just got a new fridge (of course you know what that means with the old one-lagering!). I am going to hopefully ferment at about 62 and lager for about a month. I hope thats enough to clear it. Cheers!

Yeah, feeling pretty guilty about my two batches I snuck in. Thankfully research is going really, really well, and what I thought was a year, is going to be more like 3 months... I just need to stick to the non-brewing part.

Not brewing, though I really wish I was. Having house guests. So homebrew will be quaffed, if not made.

I think I missed something. Why are you supposed to not be brewing?

Brewed a Black(?) IPA with 2-row, some CarafaIII Special and Nugget.

I had about 7# of 2-row left so I added 2# of Oatmeal and made 2.5 gallons of Barleywine.

Fed the Belgian half of last weeks RIS cooked sugar. Trying to hold off kegging the English half.
RIS, grain to glass in 7 days FTW!:grimacing:

Trying knuckle down and finish the last bit of data collection and write my 3 publications for my Ph.D. My wife, myself, mother (Ph.D) and thesis advisor all suggested a brewing hiatus... unfortunately I haven't quite been sticking to the no brewing part, but have at least limited it to 2 batches over the past 2 months.

Brewed an all centennial IPA this week. 5 gallon batch, 6oz's of Centennial. Smells incredible right now in the fermenter.
