Brewing a robust porter with the hope that it's pretty darn close to Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald in taste.

Will bottle my saison tonight. Hit a FG of 0.998. Was shooting for about a 4.5% session beer but this one came in at 6.65%.....

Good old Saison yeasts... Kegged mine last week; I aimed for a 6.5% export saison and had the beer go all the way down to 0.990 to give me a smooth 8.5% saison.

Honey IPA is in the first week of fermenting, added the honey on Tuesday. Waiting for that to die down and then taking a crack at dry-hopping.
Girlfriend decided she wants a "Pumpkin Roll" beer, so I'm working on a recipe for that. Weighing the merits of cream cheese flavor extract - maybe just in the bottling bucket after I've already dispensed half.

Brewed my first all grain this week, a Rye ale. May just have to brew again this weekend, some sort of pumpkin ale.

Nice! I was a bit intimidated at first, but really it's almost no different from extract brewing with steeping grains. Good luck!

I was amazed how smoothly my first all grain day went. I have zero reason to believe that the beer won't come out great. Dry hopping it tomorrow morning before I leave for Schlafly Hop in the City beer festival.

I brewed a pumpkin ale at 4 am. Couldn't sleep so I did that. Fairly uneventful with no sparing issues with the pumpkin I used. Smelled great going into the fermenter. Repitched BRY-97 so curious how that does with repitching.

Last IPA of the season. Centennial, Amarillo and some progress for fun, most all in the last 15 min. A good shot of C77 and C40, touch of special B. Not normally what I would do here. But I am looking for a bit more body for the cooler weather. Us05- mash at 150.

    Cheers!

Only if tapping into a recently kegged stout and ipa count as brewing activity.
