I am looking for an app for my iPad. I am an extract brewer and I don't foresee going AG anytime soon. I'm looking for the app to keep a brew day log and store recipes. Also maybe convert an all grain recipe to extract.

iBrewmaster is pretty good and is what I use on my iPad. There's a second version which too, but can't give you feedback on it.

I am virtually certain there is a version of Vikeman's Brewcipher, which is great btw, that runs on IOS. It is definitely worth checking out. After 3 batches, I have it dialed in and is very accurate at predicting outcomes. I keep ibrewmaster around for storing and for the timers and reminders.

Brew pal is really good and only costs $1. I have it on my iphone but not sure if it's available for iPad.

Will these all create and store recipes?

I believe there are apps available for iOS that can run excel spreadsheets (which is what BrewCipher is), but I haven't tried this myself. I'm not a Apple guy. Hell, I still haven't fully got over the demise of IBM DOS.

In BrewCipher, you create the recipe, then "store" it by saving the spreadsheet with a unique name.

I use BrewPal quite a bit. It's iPhone native but blows up fine to work with an iPad. It saves past recipes and includes timer functions to remind you when to do hop additions, etc. It seems pretty well supported and the hop inventory updates with some regularity when new hops come to market.
