It's been a long time since I posted here, and I noticed that the weekend brewing thread isn't to be found! What happened there? Anyway, I brewed an APA today, and at the moment am almost done chilling the wort. I totally blew past my estimated 72% efficiency of 1.043 and ended up @ 1.047. I'm not sure yet where that puts me for efficiency, but I'm glad to know I did better than I thought I would. Aside from a few hiccups, it was almost a perfect brew day. I brewed a small batch dubbel which I hope to have ready for turkey day. Now I have 3/4 of a dark candi syrup container to use up. I'm thinking pumpkin bread.
