Headed up for the weekend. We have been to the Great Lost Bear and liked it a lot. Any other good recommendations out there? Thanks!

The only brewpubs (which I define as serving beer that they brew on site) in the City of Portland are Gritty’s and Infinity.

If you have the time, head to nearby Saco and visit Run-of-the-Mill Brewery.

These aren't all brewpubs (you mentioned GLB, which doesn't brew it's own beer, so I figured it wouldn't matter), but definitely places worth checking out.

Novare Res is THE spot that matters, arguably the best beer bar in NE (if not the East coast). http://novareresbiercafe.com/

    Other great choices:

Infiniti Fermentation and Distillation (owned by same guy who runs Novare Res)

    The Thirsty Pig

    Little Tap House

    Nosh

    Sebago Brewing

    Seadog Brewing

i know it is not a brewpub, but Bull Feeney's in the Old Port has outstanding food, and they do have a respectable draft range. Just my .02 c

Add Kings Head to the taproom list - opened last month by former owner of our local Blackback in Waterbury. Is (rather conveniently) located right next door to Infiniti.
