I'll throw in our $.02 and say this is about the most fun beer event you'll ever attend. The charitable aspect makes it that much better again. Beyond worth the price, and a great cause.
We're excited to be bringing some great stuff in bottles and on draft, and a few 3-6L bottles on the auction side. As much as it pains me to give them up!
You will find me by the Tilquin keg.

I second this. The only local festival in the area that even comes close is FredFest. This will be my 3rd year attending the VIP session, and I've always felt more than satisfied by what the attendees get for their $50.

Oh, and if you need a little nudge, here's a few of the things my GF and I won playing the Wall of Beer game last year:
    • NG Serendipity
    • NG Belgian Red
    • Cantillon Classic Gueuze (375ml)
    • a mixed 6 pack of Short's Beers with a Short's tote bag

Trevor you 2 really need to get over here. Pierre, Tilquin, is such a nice guy. He loved showing us around and talking about beer and had a humble reverence for Jean van Roy and his ability to make beers. He also didn't hesitate to donate a keg after I talked to him about New Avenues.

    See you in September!

NOT TRUE, mistake in the post, sorry:slight_smile:

*In unrelated news, Jeremy has been fired from his post as copy and paste master:wink:

They had several shelves full of bottles that were hidden inside numbered paper bags. You bought tickets for $10 each, chose a number, and walked away with something fun. In the case of the Shorts 6pk, they had a dummy bottle on the wall with a note on it, and when we choose that number they reached under the table and handed us our sixer.

I'll second Trevor's comments and say that, yes, in a city that is positively saturated with beer events BFNA stands tall.

    Also Tilquin.
