I opened the software this morning and found that my entire database had gone into the firmament. I have no clue where it went.

Which proprietary brewing software is the most widely used by our community of homebrewers?

I always assumed it was Beersmith.

Brewcipher has been my go to. It was created and is maintained by @VikeMan here on BA.
It is proprietary. You'll need to save your own recipes locally (to your device). It's in spreadsheet format and is not a web-based tool.

VikeMan is typically quick to respond to offer help and to answer questions about his creation.
