Looking at the lists, I noticed that too. But what's up with no Westbrook last year?!

Oh okay. I wasn't there, I just didn't see them on the beer list.

Just tired of your whining really. Maybe include some advocacy next time?

Because they haven't released a tap list yet that means its "less and less organized"? Its 6 weeks away, calm down.

In regards to price, the people at COAST are beer advocates in the truest sense of the word. If you knew anything about what they've done for beer in the state of SC, and the way they conduct business, you would know that. Implying that the price increase is in some way a money grab for them, now that is the absurd statement.

Me saying the price goes up does NOT, in any way, mean I think it is a money grab for them. Sheesh...wth is wrong with people, I have a differing opinion of the event, as it stands right now, and all sorts of words are put into my mouth.

Read your posts man. They are full of negative connotations regarding the price. You clearly have a problem with them raising the price, and if you have a problem with it then you must think its unwarranted. No need to backtrack on it now that you've been called out.

Me not being crazy about the price increase, doesn't constitute me saying "MONEY GRAB!!". That's a pretty far reach, but whatever. I've learned that the sharing of one's opinion on certain things seems to result in nothing but outcries from those that are content with paying whatever a beer fest costs. And...the cost wasn't even the original issue I spoke about anyways, it was the fact that in 2013, beer lists were posted far in advance, and not last year and this year.

But yeah...me mentioning price ONCE in 6 posts, totally = 'full of negative connotations'. If 1 in 6 denotes MANY, I went to the wrong math classes way back in school.

I've been to the first one and the last two and quality was consistent enough for me(and many others) to buy a ticket on "blind faith" even with a $25 price increase. I trust this will be another awesome year. I was concerned last year about the ratio of newer local breweries vs national ones but the locals stepped up big time. If you know anything about recent beer history in SC then you know that 10 yrs ago this fest could never have happened. Coast, CBX, etc. pushed "pop the cap" legislation that made this event(and the the great local breweries and beers)possible. This is our State's premier event...I can't wait!

Brawley's Black and Blue sold out in 2.5 hours on Christmas eve and not 1 beer has been announced yet. The only thing that worries me at this point is how im gonna get home. The beer at both festivals will be awesome and as expected. There are a few things i dont question in life, these are 2 of them.

Brewvival is always the greatest day of the year, if you are on the fence, reference previous beer lists and know that there's always some *very* good stuff left off those lists. Buy in confidence and trust the committee, or don't. It's no skin off my back.

And like that...Brewvival is now starting to roll out the list.

They are starting out with a bang: New Belgium Slow Ride session IPA. Rip up and burn those tickets now, nothing but shelf turds to come.

That NBB Cherry something or the other sounds pretty interesting.

CBS should calm the anxiety of those who were worried about the tap list.

Lots of other really good things added too!

That's at least 2 kegs of CBS that are in fests in S.C. this year. Pretty solid

For sure. And other kegs popping up in SC that aren't fest related. I wonder what this batch size was. The more CBS the better!

Added an assload to the site today. Given that it's a month away, expect quick & dirty additions in big batches (as opposed to a handful of beers midday on weekdays, as in years past).

@funkybuddha will you be at brewvival this year since you missed it last year

@gunhaver will you all be at brewvival again this year?

I don't think either have ever confirmed they would be there (and are never on the pre-list). Something I believe with the not being licensed to distribute in that state and not able to advertise or something weird like that. Same with Wicked Weed, and other out ones not licensed for SC.

@funkybuddha has dropped hints previous years though if they were coming.

Yes but they both responded in last years thread and were not on the sheet the day of the event. Hopefully the wi both be there this year.
