wasn't able to go but was very excited based on the brewery list & venue.

    any feedback?

    how were the tap lists?

Great setting, plenty of room, food was great as always.

No whales on tap, but everyone brought solid beers and nothing really ran out early.

Was nice to try some breweries all in one place that I normally don't get to check out.

Not sure if this Untappd link will work, but anything that was checked in at Brick Farm is what was pouring outside

We had a great time yesterday. The only two issues that I had were the lack of shade (they could add a tented area in the middle next year) and they called last call at 3:30, despite the emails saying 3:45. I brought this up to the guy who seemed to be in charge and he told me that the ABC was there and watching them. I would have been ok with that explanation, except for the fact that I heard a few other people in STAFF shirts saying that they couldn't wait to get everyone out so they could drink.

The food was great as usual for Brick Farm and I was happy that we bought the food combo ticket. I was very impressed by Kelly Green and Heavy Reel, two breweries that were completely new to me. My biggest surprise was the DDH Wrestling Moves IPA from Ludlam, I think I had more pours of that than any other beer.

If they do it again next year, we'll be there. Overall, it was a great fest for their first try.

To be fair the staff was saying they couldn't wait until everyone left so they could enjoy the leftovers very early in the day since the restaurant was closed for the day and none of them had to work after the fest was over.

I'm fine with that, I was just more upset about the last call time. Granted it was only 15 minutes, but when I told the guy who was telling everyone last call, he said it must have been a typo.

Now that I think of it, they did an earlier last call at the Troon Anniversary party back in December too

I don't remember if they stated when the anniversary would go until, but last call was pretty early: 8 or 8:30.
