Pretty sure this will be the death of my bomb verticle at this point and I've been a prairie fan since literal day one.

 

Specs walnut hill got 12 bottles, will start selling them in 15 mins when they open.

 

no more at the Spec on Walnut. sold out 20 mins after being open.

 

Yeah, I went out of my way to get pirate bomb...not so sure Im going to make the effort for this one.

 

Looks like the Mommy Mules are in fully effect today. CM Hulen had 2 cases and it sold out in under 30 min.

 

If only there was more than one specs..

 

IMO Pirate was better. I had the Balcones and the Pirate at the Halloween event.

 

When do you plan to drink the vertical? Also it'll trade for, just the right set of eyes, especially since now it's been released.

Got some at Specs Bingle today. They had about a case left as of an hour ago

 

I wish I had one so I could get some Backwoods Bastard.

I would complain about not getting Prairie where I live, but that might compromise my original and true identity.

 

Hah could be worse Porter. I was told at Specs Jones by their manager in a tirade that "these beer people are a growing problem" because I assume we keep calling and showing up about expensive beer we want to buy. Wow. Was only told by his attendant that the store should have it after noon. Was near 1pm when I showed up at asked/referred to attendant's statement.

 

How is this a problem? We're buying an expensive item which the stores can make more $ on.

 

Pretty sure for large stores like Specs, limited release craft beer has a near negligible impact on their ultimate bottom line, and beer nerds being a moderate pain in the ass about limited releases make it close to being not worth it for them.

 

On a larger yearly scale, I spend quite the dime at specs NW stores. It ain't about the beer. About how he treated me as part of this beer society making their lives a living hell.

 

Or should I say I received the brunt of tipping his iceberg.

 

Usually those same customers are buying other beer too. Maybe not at the same time, but they usually do.

 

Just one less store to shop at. Don't want my comments to become a SW BA Forum problem or focus *zipped*

 

Maybe those stores should stop carrying the limited beers that they bitch and whine about and let the stores that want to serve customers have it.

But, they don't. They continue to try to get those beers and continue to bitch about it. It is their own fault.

 

Supposedly there was a shit storm at Specs Hulen today from people who didn't get BA Bomb and Merkin. lol Somehow it's not fair that people got there early for a good spot in line.
