Yes, it did say Starbucks on it. That was missing when they briefly revived it around 10(?)yrs ago. It was pretty pedestrian by comparison, or maybe I'd had too many great coffee stouts in the interim. Anyway, that beer was the first time I was moved to advertise on my body with a beer t-shirt.

I miss them because I never had them. There was one shipment of RR to Spokane that was followed by RR announcing they were reducing their distribution.

Wow. Forgot about them. Back in the 00s some kegs would find their way to Spokane. About 8 or 9yrs ago, when my brother still lived up that way I visited the brewery and was shocked at how far the quality had declined.

Ah, by then the latter was already being called "BUDHOOK" (by Jim Koch, at least).

After a disappointing experience last night, I very respectfully request that Bale Breaker start making Field 41 again. I can no longer call this the best IPA in WA, or even recommend it.

Widmer X-114 IPA. They had a series of IPAs in 2010 or 2011 called the Rotator Series (IIRC), which the X-114 was a part of.

Great IPA that was like $6-7 a sixer. Though I wonder if I'd like as much now as I did back then.

Loved the Rotator IPAs (except the chai one). And the W’11 KGB RIS 6pks for $7 right around that time. May be the last time I remember thinking Widmer was really firing in all cylinders. I bet you still like X-114, or Citra as the kids call it these days.

Isn't Field 41 a pale ale, not an IPA?

I know, I know. But, it was the best hop-bomb around, and it tasted like an IPA, so I always considered it one. Now......

    A couple for me:
    Leinenkugle’s Limited
    New Glarus Edel Pils

They both have shown up on very limited release in the past few years but deserve a spot on the regular rotation

I have loved reading through this thread so far as a lot of what has been mentioned (that I got a chance to try, of course) I agree with: Sunrise OPA, 2014 3-Way, Commons Brewery, and that Widmer Rotator series (O'Ryely was my fave). I have a couple to add:
Deschutes Bachelor ESB and/or Cinder Cone Red
Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale (I assume they may still brew this as a tap-only offering)
Full Sail's Brewmaster Reserve series (Keelhauler Scotch Ale, Vesuvius Beglian Golden Strong, Sanctuary Dubbel, Sunspot IPA, etc.)
Widmer's Yearly Rotator (always dubbed W'07, W'09, etc).
Ahh, good times and memories - though sometimes foggy . Cheers!
