Brisket Imperial Stout Mop

    I am wet aging a prime 15lb. full packer brisket right now and I am planning to freeze it when aging gets done, then cooking it for the Superbowl. I know there are some brisket point mops out there that require beer but I really wanted to find out if anyone has used an imperial stout for this as opposed to a Bud Light, etc.?

    Most any beer will work so I say go for that stout! Just curious, why did you decide to get the meat now and freeze it instead of just waiting until closer to Superbowl to buy?

    I found a great price on prime and couldn't pass it up.
