Going to be heading to the cask event at Brit's tonight. Anyone else heading to Brit's?

Likely to hit Town Hall for the Mango afterwards (thanks for the heads up ungertaker!).

Via Twitter I hear it will be Mild from Surly, and Oak Worthy Adversary from Fulton. No word on Summit, New Belgium, or Crispin.

If I hadn't had class tonight, I would have made it.

Was a fun time. New Belgium brought a cask of Ranger IPA dry-hopped with cascade. It was great. The Worthy was a bit undercarbonated as was the Mild.

Summit had Horizon Red dry-hopped with Horizon. Great beer! Fulton's cask tasted like they had soaked vanilla beans in whiskey and just dumped the whole mess in the cask.

Thank you Mr Sheep. I didn't want to toot my own horn, however, I think our Summit cask was a clear cut best in show last night (for beer anyway, the Crispin cask was better than it had any right to be). The Horizon Red with a dry hop addition of whole leaf horizon hops was done perfectly. The amount of carbonation was perfect. I'm proud to say Summit's cask program is far superior to our local competition.

We are able to do cask variations of any of the ales we brew. That means, stay tuned for cask tapping events surrounding the release of our new Summer Ale and Saga IPA in the next few months.

I cant wait to see what you guys do to Saga. I have a good feeling Summit is really going to step up the game and build off the Unchained momentum. Good Luck:slight_smile:

I appreciate the trust. I wish that I could share some of our plans for the next few years.

    Pro tip...

Find me at a drunken bar promo. I may spill the beans.
