Help! I broke my favorite Dogfish Head glass. Does anyone have one available? It's no longer available on their website.
Sorry about your luck. If you want this exact glass, you will get additional eyes if you post in the brewiana trade forum. If you’re just looking for the same size/shape (no logo), someone on here can probably help you locate an online store where a replacement can be easily purchased.
I got one like that at a tap takeover a ways back. I remember I asked the bartender if I could buy it, and she basically said, "we have a ton of them, a couple more or less won't be noticed." Somehow it fell into my jacket pocket (and a larger than usual tip to the bartender.) Sorry it's not for sale, though.
IIRC (can't find the old threads...) those glasses were sorta notorious for just coming aparting - the pedestal/base section separating from the bowl section. Might be why they're no longer available. I found one for a buck (my standard price for a glass, though I'll pick up some up that are cheaper ) at a flea market. Figured for that price, I'll take a glass known for breaking. So far, so good - but seldom use it. Kinda clunky and "hand comfort" is the most important factor in my choice of glass these days.
