Gonna be at the NY Botanical Gardens this weekend and looking for nearby places to eat that have a decent beer list, as well as full bar. Pretty open to any cuisine.

Also, any nearby breweries with taprooms worth checking out?

    Thanks in advance...

If you're up there, you might as well check out the original Gun Hill Brewing location. The Gun Hill Tavern is way better though and has food and cocktails but that's in the South Bronx.

Near the Botanical Gardens you will have Bronx Beer Hall which is in a food court with Mike's Deli. Mike's Deli's eggplant parm is a must.

Clinton Hall opened a location right up the street too.

Another nice thing about Gun Hill Tavern is that Port Morris Distillery is right next to it and worth ducking into.

    These look solid. Thanks!

My sister is militant anti-beer (everything I've ever tried to give her "just tastes like beer"), but will tolerate a taproom visit or two, as long as we get her someplace that has wine with lunch/dinner!

Bronx Beer Hall won't feel like a beer spot with the entire market around it.

+1 to Bronx Beer Hall and the entire Arthur Ave area is such a great food scene.

Yeah it's hard to choose any one spot on Arthur Avenue, I prefer to graze.

The house-made burrino/burrata at Calandra Cheese is a must.
