Heading to Williamsburg on Thursday for a long weekend with friends and spouses. Music in Manhattan each night, but plenty of free time (beer time?) during the days. Recommendations are appreciated. Any must visits?

Other Half is on my radar as well as Sixpoint. Also considering a visit to Torst and Barcade.

    Thanks NY BA's!

One Mile House, 10 Delancy St, has 30 taps and always has something good on, and is right across the bridge in the Lower East Side. It's right next door to Bowery Ballroom if you're seeing any shows there.

Unless something's changed recently, I'm afraid I don't think Sixpoint is open to the public. @Sixpoint - is that still accurate?

Otherwise are you looking for reccos all over Manhattan and Brooklyn, or are you sticking to Williamsburg and wherever you're going for the shows?

Edit - I see you're down to visit Other Half. In that case I would recommend Threes Brewing, and as far as straight up bars go - Owl Farm, 4th Av Pub, Mission Dolores, Bar Great Harry and Double Windsor - all are pretty accessible from Other Half.

Shows are at the Best Buy Theater near times square and a bar called le poisson rouge ( not far from the Blind Tiger - a definite pit stop.) We'll have to check out the One Mile House. Thanks for the rec.

After further research it looks as though Sixpoint is brewery tours are currently suspended due to renovations. Bummer. Thanks for the heads up.

From Best Buy Theater you're not far from Pony Bar. Great spot.

Ginger Man and Rattle n Hum aren't far either.

After Poisson Rouge, I'd recommend heading to the East Village for Proletariat, Barcade, and Good Beer. (Actually before the show would be best.)

    Proletariat is awesome.

Go to SingleCut in Astoria, nice things going on there.

and I strongly recommend The Jeffrey as the best all around beer bar in the city. Great beer and food - and no beer snob attitude at all.

and look around for Barrier Brewing - my favorite NY brewery.

Thank you all for the awesome feedback. Shaping up to be quite a killer beer, music, food weekend.

Beer to go question - according to Seekabrew, NEBCO and Westbrook both distribute to NY. Any chance of finding some 6 or 4 packs around the city from either of these breweries?

Whole Foods Columbus Circle and Bowery will have Westbrook as will Good Beer. NEBCO in NYC is news to me.

NEBCO distributes to NYC once in a blue moon. According to my Untappd check-in, it's been about ten months since they last sent a few cases of Sea Hag and 668 this way so don't hold your breath.

Theres a distributor on the queens/nassau border that gets nebco with regularity if u feel like taking a short trip...not sure about BK though...as far as westbrook there is plenty of gose and other offerings all over NY so you shouldnt have a problem with that

Hopefully not really thread jacking. I'm also headed to NYC, but my buddies insist on hanging in Manhattan. I figure the only shot at convincing them to go to Brooklyn would be to find the ultimate burger joint. Any thoughts?
