So this weekend I'll be in with the wife looking to do this:

    • Three's Brewing - 3:00-ish Friday
    • Other Half - 5:00-ish Friday
    • Torst - at some point Friday
    • Singlecut - noon-ish Sunday
    • Finback - right after Singlecut
I understand that Other Half had it's release last week, but are the other breweries the kind where I can walk in and get cans? I have had Singlecut bottles before, so that'd be a bonus, but I know very little of what Three's and Finback are like at all. I'll be trying to read through the threads, but instead of trying to post in each individual thread, I figured I'd post a consolidated one here.

Any pointers are welcome, as well.

Do LIC Beer Project Friday and pick up cans of Pile of Crowns. Finback will definitely have cans. I bet Threes still has cans of Vliet.

Ignore posted hours, they're open at noon each weekday during the week (and for pints/fills) to move those cans before the holiday weekend.

You could also easily check off LIC Beer Project, Keg and Lantern, Greenpoint Beer and Ale, and Torst all pretty quickly.

From there you could do OH or Threes depending on how your schedule was.

Keep an eye on KCBC's social media through the weekend too. They're filling crowlers and the beers are awesome.

I would reverse Threes and OH. Do a tasting at OH first, then go and hang out the rest of the night at Threes. It has a sweet beer garden backyard, food, guest taps, and is connected to a coffee bar. Much better for hanging out longer.

Our reasoning for Three's and then OH was because Three's is open at 3 and OH doesn't until 5. BUT, I didn't know about the beer garden. So we might need to think about this, so I appreciate the input @DrStiffington

@RobNewton when you say ignore the "hours posted" do you mean for LIC Beer Project? You've definitely given us a wealth of knowledge with all of the other choices.

Sweet, we might be able to swing that first then. Thank you for the heads up!

I'd stop by Torst earlier rather than later on Friday (they open at noon). It can get uncomfortably busy on weekend nights. It's a short cab ride from LIC BP. Williamsburg/Greenpoint will be a whole lot nicer to check out during the afternoon before the weekend masses arrive.

Any fun bottle shops around in case I need to evacuate?

Eastern District often carries great stuff in Greenpoint. Whole foods Williamsburg would also be a great visit.
