    Across the street from Spuytin is Fette Sau for some great BBQ, beer and whisky.

    Only open Thursday through Sunday though.

    Brooklyn is a big, big place. Any specifics you can give (what neighborhoods you'll be in, how you'll be getting around, etc) will help us help you better.

    Definitely check out one (or more) of the Bar Great Harry/Mission Dolores/Owl Farm/Glorietta Baldy siblings. A stop by Other Half is a must these days though the growler wait has been substantial lately. I could go on and on about bars, shops, etc.

    Also if you want to get a beer and a free pizza hit up Alligator Lounge. Nothing fancy but a hell of a deal.

    If you are going to go to Other Half you might as well also check out these guys
    They just opened about a week ago and they also have other breweries on tap as well at in their tasting room.
    Both of these places are in the area called Gowanus.

    Spuyten Duyvil and then to Fette Sau for dinner. A stop at Torst is a must. Mission Dolores has a nice selection too.
