Have not seen much about this, but apparently another new release from Prairie, fermented with local yeast...Quarterly releases, OK only, 600-800 bottles only.

    Details and photos.

As long as I've heard about this I've heard it's a side project for Chase not really Prairie. This will be more yeast focused than what he's done with Prairie so far. I could be wrong, you could be right. Either way, very happy for more beer from Mr. Healey.

The label says brewed and bottled by Prairie Artisan Ales, so I'm guessing it's kind of a side-project series. This is intriguing. I love the letterpress label design too.

I asked about this coming to Texas, specifically DFW. Got a resounding no. If any one happens to come across it, I would love to know how it tastes.

I tried to get one of these through the trading forum, no luck at all. 250 went to Tulsa, 250 went to OKC.

A lot of them still haven't been released yet so I'd try again in a week.

I'm sure it will be great/interesting. Not interested in camping out for a beer. Have at it truck chasers...

By the way, McNellies South (Tulsa) has a few bottles left. It's really good.

It was pretty ridiculous to get a bottle. A lot of stores gave false information about when they'd be selling theirs, it sold it in minutes everywhere, etc. People appear to have gotten 4-6 bottles or none. I did abunch of scrambling and found none. Went and waiting in line at Biergarten Saturday morning for one of their 36 bottles.

I'm way over this kind of crap. This isn't beer, this is scrambling for front row seats to the next big thing. Unfortunately it's the next step in this process, so I say do what makes you happy, but don't get so disappointed because you missed out on a bottle of beer that hasn't even been proven yet, and will likely end up over-hyped.

It's almost as if brewers should be able to sell these kinds of things on site... I'll have 5-6 other releases like this in 2014.
