Transferred it and tasted it today. For a weird ass concept, it’s really damn delicious. I’ll be grabbing a case for myself for sure.
Tried it on draft. Thought it was too syrupy and way too sweet for my liking. No carbonation. I wouldn't drink more than a taster pour. I preferred dead water to this. I'm glad brouwerij west is pumping out more collabs. I try to go there at minimum every other week to pickup a 4-pack. It's nice finding a solid hazy IPA without having to pay over $22-24 for one.
Thanks for the feedback man. This beer, like most in ths style, is surely going to be divise in nature. We decided to keep the carb level lower due to how the carbonic acid seemed to amplify the tartness of the boysenberry. But for having 200lbs of soft serve in it, it could have been far worse.
I’ve only had a chance to grab a few Brouwerij West pours in the past. Had 24 pours at the Beer Zombies festival in Vegas two weeks ago, their Dead Water was the best pour I had that day. Will definitely seek them out in the future and make a trip to their tap room next time in town.
