I think everyone likes them so much because compared to the other shelfies these are quite decent IMO. Falling Water sucked but the ones that came before were pretty solid but compared to Monkish & TreeHouse, well then we are talking diffrenet league all together. I think most people lean towards them because they are easy to get and don't taste all that bad.

 

Exactly we you said...for a Shelfie, their IPAs are pretty solid but definitely not in the monkish/treehouse league

 

Just grabbed a 4-pack of Dig My Earth for $16.99. I've heard nothing but good things about this beer; looking forward to trying it this evening.

 

That's a smokin deal for that. $22 seems to be the standard.

 

I tried this thing. It really is as good as everyone says it is. Juicy and creamy, hoppy and hazy, sharp without being harsh, sweet without being saccharine...It's quite possibly my favorite IPA to date, even moreso than the HTFs I've tried.

 

Does BW generally have all of their beers available in cans at the brewery year round? I might try to sneak down this week while in LA.

 

According to their website, no. If there is something in particular you are looking for i would recommend calling first.

Haha! This is actually a good question. I did drink it and it was between the 22nd to the 25th, but I don't remember drinking it. I made sure I was blasted enough to not care what it tasted like when I had it.

 

ask the dust is some really good shit...also enjoyed my last pack of supercollider after letting it mellow for a couple weeks - lots of hop burn at the start but became pretty smooth and tasty. enjoying the stuff we're getting up here in the bay from these guys.

 

anyone see Ask The Dust around IE/OC Area. Been hearing great things about it, trying to get my hands on it without driving all the way to the brewery.

Hits distro in the OC this week, friends brought a four pack for the boat parade Saturday night and I thought it was maybe one of their best NEIPA styled beers to date, very very good.Look for Picnic Lightning cans as well.

Ask the Dust is probably the best “shelf” hazy that I’ve had. Thought is was fantastic. I don’t wait in lines for beer, so I’ve never had any Monkish cans, but I can’t imagine them being any better once you factor in the attainability factor.

 

Ask the Dust hit distro all over Sacramento/Norcal this past week. No lines, no wait. Very good. Lots of pineapple. Very drinkable.
