IMHO Picnic Lighting was more citrus fruits driven, Dig My Earth is more tropical and stone fruits driven, both however are really well made beers and worthy of seeking out.

    Cheers,

Anyone have their Popfuji? I want to know their thoughts on it.

Pretty good. It has a thicker body for a pilsner, but I liked it

Decided to take a detour to the brewery on my way to Orange County for the holiday weekend and...I drove right by it again.

But, once inside I enjoyed me some of that Popfuij goodness and picked up cans of Picnic Lighting. One of which I just cracked open and it's tasting mighty fine.

It's a great spot. Nice, big outdoor area and always has food trucks.

Protip: As a Pedro native, go to Busy Bee and get a sandwich. It will more than likely be 10x better than whatever food truck Brouwerij West has. I recommend the meatball, pastrami, or italian sausage

Hitting up Busy Bee is always a must. Then eat it near the bell and take in the views.

As a Pedro native, Busy Bee is overrated.
It's a fine, serviceable sandwich, don't get me wrong.
I grew up eating it. Lived around the corner from it for 24 years (mom and dad still are in the same house).
But once you venture out of Pedro, the culinary world opens up.
    Sandwich Saloon>>Busy Bee.

HAHA. No rivalry at all. Just one man's unpopular Pedro opinion. Kind of like tacos with guac. No thanks.
Busy Bee will always be the king of the vast majority. I'd just rather get a turkey sandwich from Sandwich Saloon.

The same people who put shredded "mexican" cheese on tacos and who use flour tortillas.

Corn tortillas, raw onions, cilantro, salsa, lime, and meat of your choice pls. Dassitmayne.

Let's not conflate two issues. It's one thing to not put guac on your tacos, but it's another thing entirely to not like avocado at all, like @SDReaper . I bet he eats wonder bread sandwiches with the crusts cut off, and pre-packaged cheese slices

Don't forget the elbow macaroni with ketchup as a side.
