This latest batch, canned 6-30 is by far the best Picnic they have brewed. I'll drink this over Monkish Our Names Are Def all day and thats not a knock on ONAD by any means, thats how good this batch is. Color is spot on, nose is insane, body is full and soft and the flavor is straight on juicy goodness.

    Cheers,

I agree. Haven't had other batches of Picnic Lightning but these cans are straight fire.

I had a can of Dig My Earth last night that I bought about a month ago, and it seems off. Mouthfeel is watery, hop nose and flavor have fallen off a ton. Didn't think it would turn this quickly in the can. Anyone else think Dig from the June batch is tasting odd right now?

I wouldn't say its tasting odd, but it was def lost body. I agree that its much more watery. Had my last can of Dig 2 days ago.
Now this Picnic Lightning, Ive had all their batches and they have been very consistent and tasting great. And readily available with no line waiting.

Loving the collab Pow Wow batch just released of Picnic Lightining, maybe even a bit juicer and softer. Best NE styled shelf beer IMO in SO Cal.

Yup, just a special label on it for the Pow Wow art thing.

Same recipe, they just brought in a few other brew masters to help brew it and play with the recipe, hence the name pow-wow. To me its a bit different, in a good way.

    Cheers,

At the brewery yesterday, purchased for takeout a 4 pack of Picnic Lightning and single cans of Saison Extra, Popfuji, and Switcheroo.

To be fair, you did say that it was the same recipe, only to follow it up that it been played with, tasted different and was named accordingly.

Anyone here try the new can release "Super Collider" yet? Thinking about driving over from LB during lunch to grab some.

My LBS said they're only getting 2 cases of it next week. 2 cans PP, so kinda bummed but looking forward to it. Let us know how it is.

Every can from BW that I've tried has been really solid so I'm hoping to grab some of today's release next week when it hits distro. Not having to rush to a brewery for haze is a nice change.

Just got back from visiting for the first time. Super Collider was pretty solid, picked up a four pack of that and another four pack of Picnic Lightning. Really cool guys there and an awesome HUGE space. Excited to have an easy option with no lines and look forward to their progression.
