Palo Santo is pretty damn close to a perfect beer.

Bear Republic's Tribute is an amazing brown ale.

Captain Lawrence just added a brown ale to their year round six pack lineup. Brown Bird Ale. Haven't tried it yet.

I crave brown ales in the autumn.

Hill Farmstead's George and Alesmith's Nautical Nut Brown are a couple of great ones.

-Olde Hickory has a barrel aged imperial brown out right now called "Daniel Boone". Despite it's unfortunate label, it's really delicious. Although to me, it drinks really close to an old ale, so it might not be what you are looking for even if you could get one.

-The base beer was available at either of their restaurants for a while and it was good too.

-Overall though, I never really go for browns. They are right there with hefes on my list of things I'll order although I will get a hefe when it's hot out.

Nectar Humboldt Brown and Anchor Brekle's Brown are great. Brooklyn brown is good too.

And if you home brew or live near Russian River then Janet's Brown is awesome.

Oh and lastly lagunitas wtf. I love brown ales.

The new TBA Stone Collab is probably my favorite brown ale so far. I highly recommend it!

Browns are something I never actively seek out but always seem to grab one to try every other trip to the shop and usually enjoy. It's just not a style I ever seem to be in the mood to drink. It's kind of my "rainy day" style though and we obviously get a good bit of those here in the Burgh.

    Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar for.

I had a Lost coast Downtown Brown last night for the first time in ages, and it was way better than I remember it being. Anita Turbodog was also a nice one.
