Brown Shugga in NoVA/DC

    Not sure if the 2013 Lagunitas Brown Shugga has reached our area yet.

    I know that it hasn't been delivered to Virginia Total Wines. The Landmark Alexandria location wasn't sure when they would be getting it in.

    I will be running around DC tomorrow (Nov. 2). Any chance it is available there? P Street Whole Foods, maybe?

    Sorta bumping my own thread here. But I imagine others are interested.

    Talked to a beer guy at the P Street Whole Foods (DC). He indicated that Brown Shugga should be in last week of November (earliest) or definitely early in December. And, of course, they will be getting Sucks too.

    They had Founders Harvest today, btw. I grabbed a four-pack. And, for those of you looking, Warlock. I didn't swing by the growler station, but the beer guy said they were pouring Boulevard BBQ, among others.

    Picked up at Wegmans in woodbridge, Va. Plenty available.
    Should be at other area Wegmans as well

    Yup. Located a six-pack at the Alexandria Whole Foods. Think its mostly distributed and available now.

    7.99 or 9.99? maybe.

    I hate to provide an inaccurate answer but, in any case, it wasn't cost-prohibitive. It was fairly priced (as Lagunitas typically is).

    it is all over the place down in Fredericksburg. All the bottles shops have it in 6 packs as well as singles, also Giant, Wegmanns and Food Lion.

    Pretty sure I saw this a Total Beverage in McLean on Sunday.

    There were a couple of cases of Brown Shugga at TW McLean Saturday, kinda hidden next to the back foreign beer 4/6 pack isle on the ground. 9.99 a six pack.

    My girlfriend and I ended up in San Francisco and outlying areas around the end of October. We managed to get out to Lagunitas and do the tour (where we got a private tour of the bottling facility complete with grabbing our own freshly bottled Maximus right off the line).

    Hoping I could beat the rush I ended up bringing back two six packs of Brown Shugga. Glad to see it's in the area now though.

    Looks like all the trader Joes have them for 9.99. Picked up a sixer today in Clarendon. I'm sure it's a couple bucks cheaper than WF or the other local bottle shops nearby
