Brown Shugga' is back. Yes!

Drinking one right now. Primo example of big flavor through balanced interplay between malt and hop.

 

It seems a tad less sweet this year which I really like. Great beer!

 

Picked up two today at Wegmans to complete my mix six. I have a feeling I'll be buying a full six pack at some point. Love this brew. I'm probably one of the few who prefers this to the substitute (you know).

 

Agreed. It's tasting better than ever because there's more focus on the hops. Before, it was too sweet and boozy but they've really dialed in on something special with this latest batch.

 

Had my first last night. Have another for another time.

 

Looking forward to this. Actually prefer it over Sucks.

 

Love it can't have too many though.

 

For its unique combination of excellent taste, price, and strength, this may well be the best beer that I know.

Had my first sixer this past week, and I agree: it is awesome. Especially at $9.99 for a specialty, 9% beer!

 

If you're in the LA area, I bought mine at Sunset Beer Company in Echo Park. Call 'em first though, it was a week or so ago.

 

I always look forward to this beer. It seems though that every year it moves further from an American Barleywine/Strong Ale and closer to a DIPA. Either way, its another Lagunitas offering with quality that far exceeds the price of admission.

 

I missed out on this one in years past so I was pretty excited to try it. It's very good but the hype around it had me expecting more. I was sort of anticipating it being really sweet but it didn't taste too sweet in my opinion. It's a killer 6 pack for $9.99, though.

 

Oh boy can't wait. I still can't figure out why I passed on this one last year, and love supporting Lagunitas as they're one of the only breweries that do not ridiculously gouge its customers (aside from Sucks quarts lol).

 

I'm not sure I liked brown shugga too much, I liked substitute a lot better

 

I got a 6pack at Total wine about 2 weeks ago.

 

It will be at World Market, Antioch tomorrow. I can't wait!

 

Killed a whole 6 pack on this during the cowboys bears game. Got pretty wasted, and was 2 hours late to work the next day and still a little drunk when i got there. No regrets, that beer is amazing.
