so I just recently moved to the Bloomington/Normal, IL area and one of my co-workers informed me of 'Bruegala' this weekend (an annual beer tasting event that occurs in the area). From the website info, it looks like its $15 per person which includes the entertainment, but it sounds like you need to purchase additional tickets in order to sample the beers that they are going to have (beers costing 2-5 tickets). I was wondering if any fellow BA's were attending and if this event is worth attending? Thank you all in advance for the responses. Cheers!
If I remember correctly the $15 gets you a commemorative pint glass and admission to hear great music. Being an outside event you could go to the beer garden next door and hear the music too. Believe money goes to charity also, so theres that. Don't ever remember them having anything rare or hard to get, just solid fresh offerings.
