I've had a pour from a bottle in the tasting room as well as opened a bottle at home already that was shared with multiple people. Not one person mentioned anything about any sour notes. Just delicious coffee, chocolate and bourbon!

That's a bummer, seems to be the same issue with me. Glad that's its only a subset of bottles though.

I would email the bruery with Batch #'s (That's what I did) and hoping to get an exchange on my other 3 bottles. They've always done right by me in the past and have my full faith it will work out this time too.

I wouldn't expect anything from them for a minimum of a week, if not longer (or never if they determine it was just a couple of bad bottles). Hopefully the people who opened infected bottles sent their bottle codes in to the Bruery - or saved the bottles so they can do so - to help them determine if it was a specific bottling run that may have been contaminated.

Opened up a 2015 MW on Saturday, didnt gush when opened and it was amazing. Shared it with Dan from OOTP and a couple members from Brewluminati and they also got no signs on infection or got any tartness out from it.

Its worth noting that the bottle i opened, did gush, but it didnt taste tart. I also have had it refrigerated since SMM.

Trustees can now use the 32oz growler to get RS fills now. Is the HS growler also blue?

    From the email:

"Beginning this Friday, a selection of limited release beers will be ready for 32oz Society-only fills. Our regular release beers are available for 32oz fills right now!

You may fill your growler with any beer normally available in a 2L growler. Our plan is to regularly rotate in some more limited options only available in the 32oz size for you to take home. We understand that not all of our members are able to visit us personally to get their growler filled. If you can't make it to the Tasting Room personally, you may give your 32oz growler to a trustee to fill for you. All your trustee needs to have is the 2015 32oz growler and they'll be able to get a fill. All other membership benefits including Society-only 2L growler fills, draft offerings, discounts etc... are only available to a card-holding member in person. "

HS trustees can get HS fills then?

I would assume so. My email doesnt say anything about either. Just says trustees can get fills. What I want to know is if we can get fills of HS only beers. That would be sweet.

Let's not confuse hoarders exclusive beers with hoarders only growler fills.

yep, I was referring to the HS growler fills. I would LIKE to get them on the HS exclusive beers but I know that is unlikely. A man can dream though.

Yeah, don't be expecting those hoarder fills to be anything remotely close to Winefaction II. Besides, if they allowed for HS to get fills, don't you think they would be flooding the market with those trades. I mean, look at how much of a killing we made off SHIT w/ Coconut.

Yeah, but do we really think they care about the after market? They got there money and people do it already anyway. Just saying it would be sweet if they let us get one fill a week of a HS beer.

What I want to know is if they'll allow you to use other 32oz growlers to get fills or only your branded RS/HS hydroflask. It would be nice if you could fill other 32oz growlers or even just unbranded hydroflasks. And I'm not even talking about special society fills but just simply having the option of 32oz fills instead of 64oz fills.

I guess we will see on Friday. I know they are big on what types of growlers they will fill but who knows what the rules will be or what special beers we will get. I just want something besides Coffee smoking wood.
