Tom's Place is really close. Not really my thing but I always end up at the Bruery starving and it's the closest place so I end up going there.

In N Out and El Farolito are you're best bet, both are within 5 min of the bruery. You might be better off eating there, unless you're pressed for time.

I'm heading out that way later this week and will spend just a little over a week in the area. I'm trying to plan my visit and every time I've been there its been standing room only. Is there a better day to go than others for either capacity and/or special offerings? (I'm a HS if that matters).

PS does anyone want to meet up or want something from Mi?

They open at noon now if that's an option

Have you only been on weekends? Since they've started opening at noon on weekdays, I'm sure it's much less crowded then.

You can 100% bring them. The only rule is they can't sit at the bar but they can sit anywhere else. As someone previously mentioned, if you get there early enough it shouldn't be a problem to get a table.

Mmm, I'm going to have to take you guys up on some of these suggested eateries. They look fantastic. My usual routine is to hit Five Guys in Brea on Imperial Hwy on the way down. Been a bit of a tradition, but would love to try the local fare.

Apparently, they did have a plan on the merch, and it actually sounds interesting:
I'm curious to see pictures/specs on the leisure bag but the fact that they're giving us a choice is very cool.

    The growler looks interesting. http://www.miir.com/product_p/500283-285.htm

The only one offered on their website is also 64 oz so maybe they are switching back to that format. It's also a flip top instead of a screw top. Hopefully that will solve any leaking issues.

Good catch! I just google growler. That looks awesome as well though. I'm just stoked if that fixes the leaking issues.

Agreed. I always worry about screw-top growlers leaking/losing carbonation. Flip-tops are the way to go.

Would love to see every brewery switch to these types of growlers. I dig the merchandise option and will probably choose the growler.

I am more upset with the selection of 32oz growler fills this year. I'm hoping that the later part of the year has more offerings.
