He may be speaking of shipping just the merch, not beer.

On that subject, I noticed in the "flexible shipping options" there is one that says "2014 included Society Merch [+$8.00]". I assume that once the 2015 merch is available to be shipped, an option will appear to have it shipped? Although, I assume the $8 is to ship it within California, so I am not sure how they will adjust that for those of us that are out of state.

A reminder, they're also three hours behind us. I wouldn't expect anyone to out together the allocations list at 4:30am. 1:45pm East Coast time is usually when I see the email.

Does anyone think The Bruery will have the January allocations ready for pick up for Member Monday?
I sent in a request right after the January allocations were emailed, but no response yet. I know they request 24-48 hours.
Bruery is a 1.5 hour drive, just want to make sure the gas isn't completely wasted.

The beers are available for pickup - even if they don't have it boxed up beforehand, they can get them for you.

Plus comparing CR to MW is silly. CR when it was first offered to RS was limit 2.

A question for those who attended SMM (or found this out in some other way): Is the Bruery going to do 32 oz growler fills? Providing us with a 32 oz growler seems to suggest they will, but I haven't seen any definite confirmation of this yet.

    Thanks!

Yes, they will. They are going to have special fills. This is information I got while picking everything up today.

I talked to Patrick and Matt tonight about 32oz growler fills. Matt said that everything available for growler fill will have a 32oz price. Plus there will be some beers that will only be available for 32 oz. fills, tasters, or pours.

That seems like a good thing. It suggest that those 1-off's that normally aren't growler fill ready will now be in reach.

Actually Chocolate Rain was the mystery beer for the 2011 Reserve Society. One bottle with no option to purchase more.

I'm in need of a trustee if anyone is willing to work a deal with me? My trustee from last year has had some circumstances come up where he can't do anymore.
    Message me if a possibility.

    Cheers!

From what I heard at the last year's BT party it is Black Tuesday that is taken from its barrel after normal aging, then reracked in a fresh bourbon barrels to continue development/aging for another 12 months.

2014 RS member here (not 2015 though). I can confirm they ship your merch outside of CA for the same $8 rate. They just shipped it to NY for me.

For those that went to Society Member Monday, what was the consensus on Chronology 6 ?

If you like the anniversary beers you will dig it. Its extremely similar to those. I personally dug it. It will be nice to do a vertical with them once they are all done.

Question for the experienced: what kind of container do they use to ship bottles? Cardboard or Styrofoam?
