Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

Out of curiosity, what was the pre-discount price on 3 French Hens today?

 

2017 will be my first year as a reserve member. I have a question about the society growler fills... is the only way to get a society growler fill by using their branded 32oz growler (for purchase at an additional coast?)?
People that were members before, how often would you get society growler fills?
Are they better deals (cheaper)?

What does this mean?

First: I'd imagine like before. Beer A: 3 Bottles, Beer B 6 bottles. etc..
Second: Do we get a second round of allocations? Like Beer A: 3 bottles, Beer B 6 bottles again?
Third: Then unpurchased HS beers go to RS and unpurchased RS to to PS? Or a free for all?

I just noticed the included merchandise includes a 6 bottle tote bag. Was this recently added or already known?

 

In past years, you had a choice of getting a growler as part of your initial package.

I only make it to the tasting room roughly every two months, and rarely get more than four growler fills a year. But its often a fill of something not bottled or that I've maxed out my allocation. For example: my last fill was Mash & Coconut when it was first released. It was nice to have a growler for now, and bottles for later.

I'm my case, I like keeping the growler fill option open. Sometime I use it, sometime I don't. But when I do, I'm glad I brought it with me.

 

Really like the looks of the prospective beer list in he society email. Love the return of freckle and Black Tuesday Port.

Also wonder what Melange 5 is? Nothing on untapped.

Melange 5 was (and presumably is again) Dirty Beaver Juice Weekend. Fantastic beer the first time around, I always hoped for a re-brew (or re-blend I suppose) but I suspect the fact that it had a smoked component probably made it a non-starter once people got totally burnt out on Smoking Wood.

I would buy the growler if I didn't already have 2. I enjoy getting fills. Fills are typically a couple dollars cheaper than the bottle price but you get about 8 ounces more. I think I paid about $19 for BA 8 maids and the bottles are like $22ish. I fill at least one of mine sometimes both depending on the list everytime I go which is once every other month.
For what it is worth my Klean Kanteen is my go to as a water bottle. I like it more than my hydro flask and MIR because it is easy to open and a better fit for putting my mouth to it. But, The Klean Kanteen is my least favorite growler for beer because I feel like it is the worst insulated and I like to fly across country it.

 

Gather 'round, children. Hear again the tale of the 12 Days of Xmas sale for BT 2010 that magically turned into the 2009 BT sale when the Bruery accidently released a 2009 case and then employees tried to snatch them back from the wide-eyed beer lovers.
